FUGITIVES DRIFT CAMP

This private game reserve is a recognised Natural Heritage Site and overlooks the famous battle sites of Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift, it is here that the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879 is brought back to life. History enthusiasts are in paradise at Fugitives’ Drift and get to experience the flagship history tours led by some of the guides that had their great grandparents participate in the famous battles that were fought in this area in the 18th century. You will witness the hair-raising stories of the battles, inspect the actual sites of where the battles took place and see the actual spots where the participants of the battles lay buried. Some of the activities that could be enjoyed include, the flagship history tours, history talks, bush walks, mountain biking, trail running and fishing.
